Causes of Sciatica

Sciatica is caused by the compression of the sciatic nerve which is the nerve that starts in your back and continues down each of your legs. When the sciatic nerve is injured it can cause pain in your lower back that radiates down your leg(s). The compression of the sciatic nerve can be caused by numerous disorders including:
