Back Pain

Chiropractic Care for Back Pain in Norwood and Framingham MA

The most sought after alternative care chosen for back pain is chiropractic care. Seeing a Chiropractor can decrease or eliminate pain, increase musculoskeletal health, and add to ones quality of life.

Back Pain

Back pain may be onset by a muscular strain or a sports or auto injury. While suffering from back pain you may find it hard to do or concentrate on anything else, your world may seem to stop. The most mundane activities can come with excruciating pain that can shoot through your back, neck, and extremities. This pain can also cause sufferers to complain about headaches and migraines. There is a reason most people choose chiropractic care for relief from this pain… It works!

What is a Chiropractor?

Spine-health describes a chiropractor as “someone who is a health care professional focused on the diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders, with an emphasis on treatment through manual adjustment and/or manipulation of the spine.” The primary goal of a chiropractor is to provide pain relief and rehabilitation of the body’s damaged or injured musculoskeletal anatomy. Chiropractors help ones back pain through aligning the spine while allowing the body as whole to revert back to a balanced posture while alleviating nerve, muscle, tissue, bone, or joint pain.

Seeing a Chiropractor for back pain

When you first see the chiropractor they will perform an initial evaluation to help determine a diagnosis for your specific back pain. The doctor may require additional testing if a diagnosis is not reached at that time. After a diagnosis is established, the chiropractor may perform an adjustment in order to correctly manipulate areas that may be causing pain and discomfort. Hot and cold treatments, electric stimulation, and exercise regiments may be introduced to further treat your specific diagnosis.

Choosing a Chiropractor

Choosing a chiropractic office that has years of experience is very important. The human body is amazing and complex and no body or treatment is exactly the same. Choose a chiropractor that has provided quality treatments and has seen more injuries and pains come through their office and has a proven record of pain relief in your community.
